Palma Nova Holidays: Package Deals to Palmanova, Majorca
Resort · Balearic Islands · Mallorca · Spain
Palma Nova holidays are among the simplest beach trips a British traveller can book. The resort, also spelt Palmanova, sits on the south-west coast of Mallorca, roughly a quarter of an hour's drive from Palma de Mallorca airport, which has direct flights from the UK. Its own sands, platja del Carregador, Na Nadala and Son Caliu, are all within about half a mile. Neighbouring Magaluf is around a mile away, with Marineland Mallorca and Western Water Park close by. This page explains how a package works here, which part of the bay suits you and when to go, and lets you compare live deals side by side.

Who this resort suits
Families are the obvious fit. Marineland Mallorca is about a mile from Palmanova, and Western Water Park, with its Western Land, Indian Town and El Paso areas, is around two miles away near Magaluf. A short transfer from the airport also matters when you are travelling with tired children after an early flight.
Couples and anyone after a calmer holiday in Palma Nova can look past the main sands to the smaller coves along the coast, such as Cala Comtessa and Caleta de Bendinat, both a few miles east, and the Castle of Bendinat about two and a half miles away. Those curious about older history can visit Naveta Alemany, a protected archaeological site near Magaluf.
Palmanova or Magaluf
Palmanova is the base most people mean by a holiday here: a resort of around 7,000 residents built around a group of beaches, with platja del Carregador right in town and Na Nadala and Son Caliu Beach close by. Platja de l'Hostalet is about a mile along the shore, so you can choose a different stretch of sand most mornings.
Magaluf is roughly a mile further west and slightly smaller. Staying there puts Western Water Park, Cala Vinyes and Naveta Alemany on your doorstep, and the airport transfer is barely a minute longer at about 16 minutes. Both share the same bay, so it comes down to which beaches and sights you want closest to the hotel.
