Costa Adeje Holidays: Compare Tenerife Package Deals
Resort · Canary Islands · Tenerife · Spain
Costa Adeje holidays work well for British travellers. Tenerife South airport, served by direct flights from the UK, sits about a quarter of an hour away by road, so you are on the coast soon after landing. The resort runs along Tenerife's south-west shore beside Playa de las Américas, with Playa del Duque on the doorstep and Siam Park about a mile away. Behind it rise the old town of Adeje and the gorge of Barranco del Infierno. Daytime highs stay between 20°C and 28°C all year, and rain is scarce from April to August. Below, I set out who the resort suits, when to go and how a package comes together, and you can compare live deals from several providers.

Who Costa Adeje suits
Families are the obvious fit. Siam Park, the island's best-known water park, lies about a mile away, and Aqualand Costa Adeje is closer still. Monkey Park is roughly 3 miles away for a change from the pool. Short transfers from Tenerife South mean tired children are not stuck on a coach for long after the flight.
Couples who want a slower pace have Playa del Duque, a little over half a mile from the coast, and Golf Las Américas about 2 miles away. Walkers have the protected gorge of Barranco del Infierno above Adeje. If you want quieter scenery, head for the Malpaís de la Rasca nature reserve and the Punta Rasca Lighthouse, both around 6 miles down the coast.
Choosing where to stay
Most Tenerife Costa Adeje holidays are based on the coast itself, which merges with Playa de las Américas about a mile away. This side puts you closest to Playa de las Vistas, Honda Beach and Playa de Los Cristianos, all around 2.5 miles off. It is also handy for Siam Park and Golf Las Américas, and has the most sights listed in our data.
Adeje, about 2.5 miles inland, is the municipal town, with a population of around 43,000. It is the natural base if Barranco del Infierno is high on your list. The smaller beaches of Playa Las Galgas and Playa de Ajabo lie at roughly 4 miles from the coast.

When to book
The climate gives you an unusually long season. Highs sit at 21°C in January and climb to 26°C in July and 28°C in August. October still reaches 26°C and November 24°C, which makes autumn half-term an easy sell. Summer is the driest stretch: July records no rainfall at all, and April and May see only two rain days each.
February is the coolest month, with highs of 20°C and around six rain days. March is the wettest month by rainfall, at 39mm. Neither month is cold by British standards, but bring a layer for the evenings, when lows drop to 13°C to 15°C. As with any family resort, UK school holidays are the busiest weeks, so book earlier for those dates.
Getting there from the UK
Tenerife South (TFS) is the airport for UK flights, with direct services from the United Kingdom. The drive is about 14 minutes to Playa de las Américas and 15 minutes to Adeje. On a package, the transfer is usually one of the shortest you will find in Spain.
Tenerife North (TFN) has no direct flights from the UK and is about 48 minutes from Adeje by road, so it only matters if you are connecting. Los Cristianos ferry port is about a mile from the coast, with crossings to Gran Canaria. If you plan to explore the island, you can compare car hire on this page.
Booking your package
