Where to stay in Costa Calma

Choosing Your Base in Costa Calma

Costa Calma is a compact coastal town of under 6,000 residents, so most accommodation sits close to the shore and the walk to Playa de Costa Calma is short wherever you stay. Expect a relaxed, beach-focused feel suited to families and couples rather than a big-resort atmosphere.

If you plan to spend most days exploring Jandía Natural Park, Cofete or the lighthouses, the southern edge of town keeps those drives a little shorter. This page shows live hotel prices so you can compare options for your dates.

Hire a car

Many of the best sights, including Cofete and Punta Jandía Lighthouse, are 10 to 18 miles from town, so car hire makes exploring far easier than relying on a small resort's options.

Winter evenings drop to around 16°C, so pack a light layer for dinners by the sea even on a hot-weather holiday. With highs of up to 28°C in August, high-factor sun cream is essential year-round.
