Summers are hot and almost rainless, with July reaching 32°C, while spring and early autumn bring gentler warmth.

The town sits just 4 metres above sea level and July and August peak at over 30°C with almost no rain, so plan beach time for mornings and late afternoons in high summer.

With Gibraltar airport so close, a long weekend is entirely realistic, and the shortest transfer of any airport on this coast leaves more of your holiday for the beach.
