Practical Tips Before You Go
Avoid October if dry weather matters to you: it brings around 176mm of rain across 13 days, more than any other month. March can also be wet, so spring holidays are safer from April onwards.
With the town at just 18 metres above sea level and July and August highs above 30°C, plan beach time and walks in the natural park for mornings and late afternoons in high summer.
Gibraltar and Jerez are both under an hour away, but car hire makes the most sense here, as the further beaches, the natural park and the nearby towns are spread along several miles of coast.
