Magaluf All Inclusive Holidays: Resorts, Weather and Tips
Resort · Balearic Islands · Mallorca · Spain
Magaluf all inclusive is about as easy as a Spanish beach holiday gets. Palma de Mallorca airport, served by direct flights from the UK, sits roughly 16 minutes away by road, so you can be at the pool the afternoon you land. The resort shares its stretch of the Calvià coast with Palmanova, just over a mile along the bay, and between them you have small coves such as Cala Vinyes, the beaches of Palmanova, and two family favourites in Western Water Park and Marineland Mallorca. Summers are hot and dry, with highs of 32°C in July and August, while May and June bring warm, settled weather.

What all inclusive usually covers
On an all-inclusive board basis, your meals are included, typically buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with snacks through the day and locally produced drinks: house wine, local beer, soft drinks and usually spirits poured at the bar. Imported brands, premium drinks and some à la carte dining are often charged extra, and the exact list varies from hotel to hotel, so it pays to read the board description before you book.
In Magaluf this arrangement makes particular sense in July and August, when daytime highs reach 32°C and long, lazy afternoons by the pool with a cold drink on tap are part of the appeal. Families also find it easier to budget when ice creams and soft drinks are not added to the bill one by one.
Where the resort hotels are
The two places to look are Magaluf itself and Palmanova, its neighbour just over a mile up the coast. Both are coastal resorts on the same bay in Calvià, and most all inclusive resorts in Magaluf and its surroundings are the larger, pool-centred hotels you would expect in a well-established package area, close to the sand and the main attractions.
Magaluf puts you within about a mile of Western Water Park, with its Western Land, Indian Town and El Paso areas, and close to the cove of Cala Vinyes and the prehistoric Naveta Alemany. Palmanova has the longer run of beaches, including Palmanova beach, Na Nadala and platja del Carregador, plus Son Caliu Beach and Cala Comtessa a little further along. Marineland Mallorca is about 2 miles away and the Castle of Bendinat about 3 miles, both on the Palmanova side, which can tip families towards staying there.

When the weather is best
May and June are the sweet spot. Palma records highs of 24°C in May and 29°C in June, with only five to seven rainy days a month, warm enough for the pool without the full weight of midsummer. July and August are the hottest and driest months, at 32°C with barely any rain in July, and they coincide with the UK school summer holidays.
September still reaches 28°C, but it is also the wettest month in the data, with around ten rainy days, and October follows at 24°C with nine. From November to March highs sit between 15°C and 19°C, which suits walking and sightseeing more than sunbathing.
Booking your package
Most British travellers book Magaluf all inclusive holidays as a package of flight, hotel and transfers, and the page shows live deals from Jet2holidays, TUI, loveholidays and On the Beach so you can compare them side by side. Palma de Mallorca is the only airport you need: transfers take about 15 minutes to Palmanova and 16 minutes to Magaluf, which is a real blessing with tired children at the end of a flight.
If you are after cheap all inclusive holidays to Magaluf, timing matters more than anything. Prices for any package tend to rise over UK school holidays, especially in July and August, so May, June or late September usually give more room, with the weather trade-offs described above. When comparing Magaluf all inclusive hotels, check exactly which drinks and meals the board covers, and whether you would rather be near Western Water Park on the Magaluf side or Marineland in Palmanova. You can also check hotel prices, tours and tickets, and car hire here if you want to explore further.
