Fuengirola Holidays: Beaches, Castillo de Suel and Bioparc
Provincia de Málaga · Andalusia · Spain · 71,482 residents · on the coast
Fuengirola sits right on the Andalusian shoreline in the Provincia de Málaga, barely above sea level at 13 metres, and it is a proper town of around 71,500 people rather than a sleepy village. Within a short walk of the centre you will find Bioparc Fuengirola, the old bullring and a string of town beaches, while the Moorish-era Castillo de Suel and the remains of the Roman city of Suel lie about a mile away. Add warm, dry summers and mild winters, and it suits a family fortnight as well as a short cultural break.
