Choosing Your Base in Town
El Campello is a mid-sized coastal town rather than a sprawling resort, so most places to stay put you within a short walk or drive of both the beaches and the cultural sights, all of which sit within about a mile of the centre. Staying near Playa de la Calle del Mar keeps you closest to the sand, while the area towards Illeta dels Banyets and Cala de Punta del Riu Sec suits those who want the ruins and the cove on their doorstep.
