Cala Millor is a small coastal resort of around 5,200 people, sitting just 12 metres above sea level on Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. Its appeal is simple and close at hand. The sand of Arenal de Son Servera begins only a few hundred yards from the centre, and Platja de Cala Millor is about half a mile away. A short walk or drive leads to the protected headland of Punta de n'Amer. Summers are warm and dry, with July averaging 30°C and very little rain. Palma de Mallorca airport, with direct flights from the United Kingdom, is roughly 49 minutes away by road. That makes Cala Millor a straightforward choice for a family beach holiday.

Where to stay in Cala Millor

Choosing Your Base in Cala Millor

Cala Millor is a coastal resort rather than an old town, so the main question is how close to the sand you want to be. Staying near Arenal de Son Servera or Platja de Cala Millor puts the beach a few minutes' walk away, which helps with young children. Bases towards Punta de n'Amer give easier access to the protected headland and the quieter beaches along that stretch.

For a more traditional town setting, Son Servera is only about 2 miles inland. This page shows live hotel prices so you can compare options across the resort.
